SUSTAINABILITY POLICY:
At Hotel Soratama, we are committed to environmental, sociocultural, and economic sustainability, quality, and social responsibility as fundamental pillars of our management. We offer comfortable and welcoming facilities, a competent team, and qualified suppliers, enabling us to provide competitive services in urban and rural accommodations, event planning, restaurant, and recreation.
We maintain a firm commitment to continuous improvement and environmental protection, minimizing the consumption of natural resources, properly managing waste, and promoting responsible practices in all our operations.
We promote the preservation of cultural traditions and the development of the tourist destination, working together with the community to improve their quality of life. Our policy also includes the prevention and absolute rejection of the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents, in line with our ethical and legal commitment.
We promote the rights and duties of our employees, clients, suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance with current legal regulations and Colombian technical standards for tourism sustainability, especially NTC 6503:2024.
RIGHTS AND DUTIES OF GUESTS AND CLIENTS:
Rights:
• To know the information related to the management of natural, sociocultural and economic resources that impact the hotel.
• Enjoy the services offered by the hotel, in accordance with the Law and the established regulations.
• To enjoy their personal and family privacy, as well as respect for their religious, philosophical and moral beliefs.
• Receive objective, truthful and complete information about the destination, reception services, accommodation and prices.
• To have their physical integrity protected while they remain on the hotel premises.
• Know the information related to safety, including evacuation routes, meeting point and emergency plan.
• To receive a guarantee in the protection of their rights, whether as a person, group, community or people.
Homework:
• Comply with the laws, regulations and policies in force in Colombia, as well as with the hotel's internal provisions.
• Respect the customs, beliefs and cultural expressions of the local community.
• To maintain and promote the tranquility of other guests.
• Respect the hotel's social spaces and use them appropriately.
• Be responsible for any damage caused in the room by him or his companions.
• Use the furniture, equipment and other items in the room appropriately.
• Use water and electricity responsibly.
• Dispose of solid waste correctly, using the appropriate containers.
• Smoking is prohibited in the rooms, in accordance with current regulations.
• Follow the instructions provided by the hotel regarding visiting tourist attractions in the region.
• Comply with the legal requirements for the prevention of sexual tourism involving children and adolescents.
• Refrain from committing criminal or unlawful acts, in accordance with Colombian law.
• Do not harm the flora, fauna or cultural heritage of the region or the surrounding area.
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF SUPPLIERS:
Rights:
• To understand the hotel's sustainability policy and the actions it promotes.
• To know and apply the hotel's sustainability policy in the development of its activities.
• To be informed and participate in training sessions convened by the hotel, when the nature of the product or service so requires.
• Accept to be evaluated objectively, understanding that the hotel applies performance and sustainability criteria for its supplier management.
• Maintain the confidentiality of the information shared during the business relationship, as part of the ethical treatment between the parties.
• Make recommendations or suggestions aimed at improving the quality, safety and efficiency of the products or services offered.
Homework:
• Deliver the products and/or services in a timely manner, according to the established requirements and at a fair price.
• Comply with the affiliations and timely payments to the Social Security System, both for yourself and your employees, and deliver the documentation required by the hotel.
• Comply with the current regulations applicable to your economic activity or sector.
• Assign competent personnel for the execution of the contracted activities, guaranteeing quality and safety in the service.
• Use top-quality materials and supplies, preferably environmentally friendly.
• Take care of the hotel's implements, tools and equipment used during the provision of your services.
• Identify and properly manage the waste generated during your work, ensuring its handling and final disposal in accordance with current regulations.
• Complete the forms and reports required by the hotel, according to the activity carried out.
• Comply with the delivery deadlines and conditions established for the products and/or services contracted.
• Guarantee the quality, safety and regulatory compliance of the goods and services supplied.
• Promote sustainable practices and demonstrate your commitment to the economic, social and environmental development of the region.
• Give priority to the use of local resources, contributing to the strengthening of the regional economy.
The Hotel Soratama, Torre San Simón and Casa de Campo Los Alcázares reaffirm their commitment to social responsibility and sustainability:
a) Comply with the Code of Conduct and reject the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
b) Reject any act of discrimination on the grounds of race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, nationality or disability.
c) Reject the trafficking of flora and fauna.
d) Promote the region's tourist attractions, encouraging responsible and sustainable tourism.

We properly separate waste, implement water and energy conservation measures, and responsibly manage chemicals and supplies. We also work with suppliers and clients who share our sustainability goals. We encourage you to reuse your towels and sheets whenever possible and to use resources consciously during your stay.
